Chicago, Illinois, October 24, 2008 – desme partners with another industry leading provider, Great Steaks. Founded in 1992, Quantum Foods is a family-owned and operated company and has evolved from a portion cut steak provider into one of the world’s largest multiple protein providers for foodservice, military and retail. Quantum has grown from a five-person "start-up" company in 1990 into a firm that employs more than 350 persons and garnered $600 million in sales annually. Due to the high demand from people who wanted to enjoy their steakhouse quality meats at home, Great Steaks and More was introduced. In addition to USDA Prime Steaks, Great Steaks offers better than butcher shop quality meats, hors d’oeuvres and other favorites. With increasing demand Quantum food decided to broaden their success by opening a store and creating an online presence. With nearly 1,500 employees in Bolingbrook, Illinois Great Steaks operates an ecommerce website located at www.greatsteaks.com. The website has been online about a year and offers an online product catalog and shopping cart.


When Great Steaks contacted desme we were enthused and aim to exceed any expectations. The goal of the project is to develop an online marketing campaign to boost the online sales. The plan is to bring in more qualified traffic to convert more and retain current and new business. In preparation an extensive keyword analysis has been done along with target market research.
